This section sets out the official kōrero for how we work together — payments, cancellations, IP, timelines, and disclaimers — so everything is clear.

Transparency matters to us, and just like keeping our whare standing tall, this kōrero keeps everything strong and clear.

Terms & Conditions

Definitions
- Te Hā Branding is Jan McMath, trading as Te Hā Branding.
- The Client is the person or organisation engaging Te Hā Branding for services.
- The Project is the design, branding, or website service provided by Te Hā Branding.

By booking a project with Te Hā Branding, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Quotations

Quotes are valid for 7 days.
Prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise.
Additional work outside the quoted scope will be charged at $90/hr.
We’re not responsible for price increases from third-party providers (e.g. printers, hosts, suppliers).

Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before starting projects over $500.
Projects under $800 are payable in full upfront.
Overseas clients must pay 100% upfront.
Balance payments are due before final files or websites are handed over.
Invoices are due within 5 business days of issue.
Late payments: $50 admin fee + 5% weekly fee after 14 days overdue.
Printing invoices must be paid before sending to print.
Work paused beyond 2 months will be invoiced for work-to-date.
If a project is cancelled by the client, all work completed to date will be invoiced.
Client covers any debt collection costs if required.

Cancellations

Clients may cancel by giving 10 days written notice. Deposits are non-refundable.
Te Hā Branding may cancel at any time with written notice — in this case, completed and paid-for work will be supplied.

No Guarantees

Design is subjective; outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Client feedback is key to achieving the desired outcome.

Communication

Most communication happens via email so we can keep a clear record.
Zoom/phone calls are available by appointment.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Full copyright transfers to the client once the final balance is paid.
Te Hā Branding retains the right to showcase work in portfolios, social media, and marketing.
All images on our website and social media are copyright protected.
Stock images may be used where required; these are licensed, not sold.
Client-supplied images must be high-resolution. Te Hā Branding is not liable for poor reproduction quality.

Design Credit

Te Hā Branding reserves the right to display completed projects for self-promotion.
Websites created by Te Hā Branding may include a small credit link in the footer.

Turnaround Times

Timelines are approximate and rely on client feedback.
Delays in client responses may push out delivery dates.
We are not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers (printers, hosts, couriers).

Approvals

Final approval is required via email before release of files.
The client is responsible for carefully proofing all content, spelling, and numbers before approval.
Once approved, Te Hā Branding is not liable for errors, even if they originated with us.

Colour & Printing

Colours may vary from screen to print due to the CMYK process.
Variations in trimming, print runs, and stock may occur.
Te Hā Branding is not responsible for variations in third-party printing.

Disclaimer

While every care is taken, Te Hā Branding cannot guarantee results beyond the scope of the agreed project. Any reliance on this site or services is at the client’s own risk.

We are not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party providers, technical issues, or factors beyond our control.

Orders are fulfilled through Printful, who may receive your shipping details in order to deliver your purchase.

Refunds & Returns

Our tees are made to order, which means:

We can’t accept returns or exchanges if you change your mind or choose the wrong size.
Please check our Size Guide carefully before placing your order.
If your product arrives damaged, misprinted, or faulty, email us at [your email] with a photo within 14 days and we’ll sort it for you.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Shipping

Orders are produced and shipped directly by Printful.
Standard shipping times are 7–21 business days, depending on your location.
You’ll receive tracking details once your order ships.
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
Any customs fees or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.

Terms & Conditions

All products are made to order — production begins once payment clears.

We reserve the right to update designs, pricing, or policies at any time.
